    By the way… this happened just after a huge storm… and before it happened to my fridge.
    I get 241 V on my outlets.
    May be I should get some king of surge protection?

    Hi,
    I have the same issue. Reading the colour code was difficult as the resistor had burnt and cracked.
    Could you please confirm it is a 100 Ohm? and what wattage? 2W, 5W?
