    The new capacitor arrived today, have fitted it and the dishwasher is now working.

    Thanks for that, I had a look underneath and the recirculation pump capacitor is a charred and melted mess, can you confirm what sort of capacitor it was (4uF ??) before its spectacular demise. The dishwasher is an indesit di620 s/n 60426 2979.
