Lovely thanks, I’ll save that link. I’ll weigh up if I want to take my chances. I’ve used the fan oven for two years solid and barely used the conventional setting at all so if they’re different elements, which they must be if it’s still heating up when not on the fan setting, then it’s had hardly any use, so no reason it would suddenly break too. CROSS EVERYTHING.

Thanks. It’s a Servis DC60w. So would the elements for the conventional oven setting be separate to the fan element? I’m guessing so, since that setting heats up and the fan setting doesn’t. Would it hurt my cooker to simply use the conventional oven which works and ignore the broken fan oven until after Christmas?
