Re: DWS 939 Not always emptying

    Hi iadom

I recently did a few washes with the drain output pipe into a buket, high and low level.
When it pumped it was very forcefull. :rolls:

Got into a ruitine now turning the prog’ switch to get e final flush out.

But i would like to solve this one.

    Thanks again

    Thanks iadom for reply.

Vertical stand pipe with special Y splitter for Washing machine also.
The intermitant fault occures when washing machine is not in use.
Yes, Zanussi. Can’t find other Mod Nos.
Tested the pump head … Very good output. way above the height of the machine
    Drain clear.
New pump. Old one bearing seal failed. Thought new pump would solve this prob’also,
    Old pump blades OK.
The pump sounds fine when running.
Foul water there after finishing and after standing a while.
If program switch is then turned, this can result in a full pump out.

I have come to the conclusion that the control rotary program switch has a bad segment.
My plan is to take the front panel off to inspect the program switch.
Have you had experience with the switch ??

    Thanks for interest.
