So i’ve rang currys, about as useless as a chocolate teapot. they have no idea what the error codes mean either. all i know from searching on the internet is that the metallic smell could be the heating element or an electrical fault.

I need a professional opinion. am i better to cut my losses as the gentleman on this post previously stated it’s a very cheap machine, and buy a decent one? or would it be worth getting someone to come and look at it?

If buying a new one would a miele be more reliable?

Sorry for all the questions and i would be very very grateful for any replies. thanks.

I’m back again. dishwasher has now finally thrown an error code out and i’m not sure what it means as cannot find it anywhere on the internet or in the manual.
the error code it’s throwing out is B03 (BO3?) and then 0R (OR?) if anyone knows what these error codes mean then it would be really really helpful if someone could tell us what these mean, i don’t want to catch fire to my house or flood it. :/
