I don’t use tabs and adjust the liquid dosage as per the machine’s instructions.

Two different of their engineers have been to it. Both said words to the effect of “that just how they are”. The water seems to leak out of the drawer, apparently even with the two closed the water pressure is too high for them…. I very rarely wash at over 30 and it’s definitely water and not suds.

In any case the dryer has now stopped working and I’ve lost all confidence in the thing so I’ve decided it’s time to cut my losses and get a new, better, machine.
