September 2011 UKW engineers meeting
Well what a meeting…. Nice to see everyone again. Shame some of the regular faces couldn’t make it but they were missed. Already looking forward to the next meeting in February. Thanks for everyone that attended and a big thank you to everyone who was involved in ensuring the meeting ran smoothly.

One day a hooker went to file her taxes, and for occupation she put prostitution.
The tax collector explained that prostitution was an illegal occupation.
She said she’d have to go home and think about it and that she’d call him back in a hour with her occupation.
An hour later she called him and said, “I’ve got it… I’m a chicken farmer.”

I would also like to thank everyone who made the meeting a great success including Ian Dales who spent alot of time behind the scenes on the phone and sending emails to ensure such a good turn out of suits etc.
There is alot of work that goes on behind the scenes by various people that do go un-noticed on the day and i feel that just because they are not seen to do much are the “day” they are by no means less important.
The majority of the work that goes into these meetings are done prior to the actual day.
well done to everyone for another great meet!!

my sediments exactly …. except im not going. Bryan deserves a break on his own he needs to get away from all the hasssles of this trade and relax.
me and the boys and the buisness will still be here when he gets back.
Get on that plane and forget about the UK for a week becuse if anyone deserves a break its you Bryan.

Re: WTA / UKW SEPTEMBER 2010 MEETING
Just like to say a quick thank you to everyone involved in the meet ….
these meetings dont just happen on there own and there are alot of people that help out behind the scenes to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible.
i would also like to personally thank everybody for being great sports concerning the raffle (especially debs). we raised £325.00 which will be divided equally between great ormond street hospital and york hill hospital.
hope to see you all at the next meet
