OK – but I don’t understand!
(no noises as you suggested, anywhere, to indicate the (‘failed’) compressor is trying to operate- presumably implying a still-functioning Relay).
As the Relay in question appears totally ‘electrical dissimilar’ maybe it’s best to forget any repair.

That’s very useful info.
No – absolutely no ‘click’ (or anything) from the Compressor/relay upon switch-on; it just gets slightly warm (stable temperature) with the Freezer-Fan spinning merrily.
So how would I wire that dissimilar relay?! I’d love to repair this instead of sending it to land-fill heaven…!

Much obliged for the pointer (it wasn’t previously suggested the Compressor could be KO’d).
The linked Relay looks somewhat different but apparently compatible
So, possibly, time for a new FF..
