    Well I have decided and the Bosch separates it is. Had considered Liebherr and Miele but they didn’t quite have the desired spec.

    Indeed it is an eye opener. It also makes it difficult to find out where an appliance or the parts are manufactured. I had an idea that some Bosch were made in Spain which leaves me with a slight dilema. Still feel I would probably be better off with Bosch made in Spain than a Hotpoint made anywhere. As you say research ……. .

    Thanks for your input Don. We were almost seduced by a £500 Samsung American style in Currys (think it was end of line display model) until we realised it was too deep and then I did some research on Samsung for spares and reliability. So I take your point regarding spending £1500 on a single machine.
