Hi there, re my first message: has anybody heard of something similar? I would really like to find out whether I ‘just have to live with it’, whether it’s a known problem in this model, whether there’s anything that can be done to remedy the problem.

So you dont’ have to read the whole long 1st mail: not enough suction on freezer door to keep it firmly shut, opens every time fridge door closes, has to be manually pressed each time to ensure tight seal, engineer says it’s ‘not a problem’ but evidence of regular icing up (indicating part-thaw) that only disappears because frost-free function removes it eventually.

Would be so grateful for any advice or others’ experience.
