same problem here with eco-program of a 3 year old Whirlpool dish washer “for Ikea”.

but two bits of extra information:

after entering into the cycle of churning, turning and beeping, you can reset the machine by pushing the black button for several seconds. after tha you can select another program and the machine starts as usual.

and for the experts: just before the beeping, I hear a smal click, wich can also be felt at the top of the door. as if the machine is checking if the door is closed.

look forward to any wisdom on this issue.
