Re: ISE W1607W F11 error code

    Hi K,

    thanks for the quick response.

    I checked in here

And there was nothing. Nothing as far as I could feel in the exit either. I also took the outflow hose off of it’s connection to the sink fittings and blew back through it. The remaining water in the pipe flowed freely out and there were no items in it.

Is there anything else I could check? I’d hate to call someone out just to find there was something else I could have done.

    cheers

    Russ

Have no fear…where electrics are involved I don’t mess! Engineer comes Monday, was just updating the thread with my findings.

Re: New ISE W1607W tripping electrics

Bit of an update. I drained the machine, plugged it back in and it powered up without tripping the electrics. Started a wash, could hear the water start to flow into the machine, then bang (not literally!) the rcd tripped. So it’s obviously something to do with water levels and electrics….which is a bit concerning!

Re: New ISE W1607W tripping electrics

Kwatt, yup, first thing I did was check the socket. I tried plugging the machine into an extension cable attached to another socket. The second the plug pins entered the socket on the extension it tripped the rcd on the extension. It did this every time. It’s not even like it happened when I tried to turn the machine on, it happens the second the pins on the plug make contact with the socket.

Re: New ISE W1607W tripping electrics

The machine has worked fine for the month and a half I’ve had it, do you think the earth tab could have worked loose?

Yup I’ve checked the plug and cable and both look fine.

Thanks for all your help iadom. I decided to call it quits, and bought an ISE instead!

I think this is the part you are referring to?

Everything seems to be in place and the wires all look ok….I think

Re: Zanussi FLE 1015W – out of balance even with light load

ok cool, thanks for the info. I’ll take the back off again and see if I can spot anything loose. And this tacho problem would cause the out of balance issues I am seeing? I guess because the machine just tries to spin up to full speed straight away?

Think I might just bite the bullet and get either an ISE or a Meile, getting fed up with fixing the zanussi, but it’s lasted me 12 years so not bad going.

Is that something I could fix myself without having to buy in parts?

Re: Zanussi FLE 1015W – out of balance even with light load

I just double checked, it was probably up at full speed within a second. And it only continued to be powered for about 2 seconds before it slowly freewheeled down to stopped

Re: Zanussi FLE 1015W – out of balance even with light load

I think it was pretty much straight up to speed quite quickly. But with a light load in it doesn’t even get up to a very high speed before it’s jumping around violently!

I went back to have a look at the machine after a day or so of not touching it. It no longer beeps when you push a button….but it will do a wash! Very odd. I didn’t do anything!!

Hmmm, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to match any of those, here’s a photo of it’s control panel. It’s very similar to the “Delta Display – without selector & button on/off” ….. except for the digital display…..and a few buttons…. 🙂

    Look familiar to anyone?

    cheers

Re: FLE 1015 W door lock light stuck on. No water inside

    Hi K,

nope it’s not in a rinse hold. The error code that I get when I turn the machine on while holding the start and skip buttons, then pushing the temp button twice, is that lights 2 4 and 8 are lit. Do you have any idea what this code refers to?

    cheers

    Russ
