    Hi Dave, Its a Hotpoint Ultima Extra WMA 63 I brought it with me from the UK when I emigrated. I have the same issue as user twj42 (above) and I am wondering if there is another circuit board (apart from the one behind the control panel) which controls the motor.

    Sorry to jump in late I have the same issue as twj42 and have ordered a new control board which is located behind the display panel. Is there also a lower board which could be the issue.
