Btw Penguin,
You also responded to my query a few weeks ago about varying heights of dishwashers – thanks once again for your reply on that too, we took your advice & went for the taller 860 model.
Cheers

Thank you for taking the trouble to respond – you’re the experts!
Even having decided on a budget & several features we want, there still seems to be just too much choice out there, particularly when the choice of vented v condenser also enters the equation! I’m more than happy with our Zanussi washing machine (touch wood) so I think we’ll take your recommendation & go for one of their dryers too.
Many thanks once again – you guys have been very helpful

Just found this one for just under £300 – would you recommend it?
Zanussi ZDC 6755OW
It’s got a time delay option & is also B rating energy efficiency
I’d be grateful for any comments/opinions.
Thanks, George

Thanks for that suggestion, I take it you would recommend a condenser dryer then?
We have a Zanussi washing machine, which we’ve been pleased with, but have recently bought new Neff appliances for my kitchen, so had automatically begun looking at Bosch dryers – yesterday we looked at the Bosch WTE 84307 which is efficiency rated as B, whereas most still seem to be C rating. Energy consumption is 3.92kwh. Apparently it also won Which ‘best buy’ last November too, though I haven’t read the report myself.
Presumably you’d suggest a Zanussi / AEG over Bosch for washing / drying appliances then?

. . . . and I also meant to say that we don’t really want to spend more than about £350 on the new tumble dryer!
Hope you can help : )
Thanks

ParticipantRe: 810mm or 860mm high integrated dishwasher?
Many thanks for that Penguin. That seemed to make sense to us at first glance, when looking at the Neff brochure. It just seemed strange that when we looked at Bosch they seemed to be the shorter 810mm height, so we didn’t know if that was the ‘standard’ size across brands.
One kitchen planner told us to go for a taller one – unless we’re having thick ceramic tiles on the floor & then another guy advised to go for the shorter one in case room is tight under the worktop. That’s what comes of asking I suppose!
Thank you for your reply – and for responding so quickly too!
George
Btw, sorry Mrs P – the name is just wishful thinking (by my wife too – obviously!) -
