Hi
Usual leaking suspects –
1/ Fill hose collar loose at machine end, causing water to weep into base.
2/ Fill valve manifold seam weping (internal)
3/ Recirculation pump rubber sealing (internal)
4/ O rings on heater manifold to sump (internal)Hope that helps

ParticipantRe: Bosch Fridge Freezer, freezer has stopped working
Hi
I couldn’t possibly say if its a motor fault, all I will say that is it sounds more of a defrost problem.
Have you tried the link below for a recommended qualified engineer 😉 but £60 odd is about right TBH.Greg
PS – Miele is a good buy 🙂

Hi
IMHO – In My Honest Opinion
TBH – Too be HonestDo you think it is worth paying someone to come out
Thats the million dollar question isn’t it and TBH its got to be your call. These are good machines and have rarely had a system fault, more likely what previous posts have said, re defrost problem.

Hi
It may be worth checking that the wires from the NTC to the module are in fact intact by checking the NTC plug contacts (unplugged) for a resistence reading across those terminals 😉
Failing that, you may have one of the rare cases with a module fault showing NTC fault (constant flashing) when its really itself that is faulty 😥
Without us being there, our advice is the best we can give with the experience and info we have 🙂Greg

Hi
It should be down to -18 after 12 hours TBH.
I would consider pro help IMHO as these are quite complex machines; and thats not meant to be condescending, its just that you will need tech info and knowledge of these appliances to effect a successful repair.Greg

Hi
Let’s see what transpires from defrost and restart 😉
IMHO if it turns out to be faulty, shouldn’t be too much a problem to sort 😀Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch Fridge Freezer, freezer has stopped working
Hi
It sounds like a defrost problem. What I would do is switch appliance off (min 24hrs) then switch back on and see how it behaves.
I wouldn’t fill freezer with good stuff, maybe only with cheap stuff (bread etc) as frost free appliances work harder empty and can cause problems.
If fault doesn’t re-occur then brilliant, it may have been just a glitch or door having been left ajar making an un-recoverable defrost state. If you do have a problem, come back to us and we will delve further for you 😀Greg
