Re: KGV 2604 Light dims when door shut

    Hi
If the appliance is located in a room which has a lower ambient temperature then 18C, then a reduced illumination of interior light is activated when the door is closed. Therefore it is normal operation under that condition so no fault  .

    Hi Jim
These can be a pain to fix TBH. Check for water in the base and getting close to pcb in base r/h/s.
Make sure you check esp heater and the usually ‘o’ rings, also the recirc pump for leakage both water and resistence and the usual hose from metering unit to sump.

Check your email aswell mate 😉

Penguin45 wrote:If the Aquastop didn’t reset, the safety system may well have cut in – this provides a pressurised air feed to the shut off at the valve in the hose.

The way to reset the aquastop is to turn water feed off to unit , remove head unit and remove plastic housing. Gently tap the round whitish unit to seperate the perma-magnets. Re-assemble, check what I said and then test agin 😀

    Re: Bosch SPS5432GB/03 problem

I can give you a guide but not specifics, hence the engineer link 😉
The pressure line is connected to the pressure switch which is a round shaped unit and the metering hose is a thickish black hose going from the l/h water matrix to sump.

    Re: Bosch SPS5432GB/03 problem

    Hi
Check the pressure system and metering hose. If all check out you are probably looking at a duff aquastop unit (091058), available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 😀
If you should require assistance in repair than please feel free to use the engineer link below.
Un-plug if you are to investigate further :plug:
