    Re: bosch dw door leak

……also if the lower spray arm is restricted in rotating and build up of crusty crud remains around main door seal and along the stainless and rubber of lower door seal, this will have same effect aswell.
If what has been posted checks out then I would be looking at changing the lower door seal which AFAIR has been modified; and isn’t as bad as it looks to change 😉 P/No 298534.

if the cabinet cooling fan don’t kick in then then oven temp won’t rise over 100 as it regulates off the high temp stat mounted in the back by the main oven fan,

Would this not result in the oven cutting off , totally dead?

Yes it would Bryan until cavity cooled down to within operating temperature. 😀

The worrying thing is, is that two esteemed engineers have been searching for this sort of appliance 😯 😆

    Re: WXLS1650EU/04 – Drum doesn’t spin

    Hi Hans
Apologies to you. The motor is an inductive type, hence no brushes shown. 😳
This is quite an intensive machine so I would personally seek pro help rather than change expensive items. Obviously with the appliance unplugged look for poor connection from motor to module etc 😀

    Re: WXLS1650EU/04 – Drum doesn’t spin

    Hi Hans
Have moved you to the European Forum ok 😀
This model does not show motor brushes/carbons as a spare, just a complete motor.
I am guessing that the brushes have worn down but without inspecting is difficult.
Unfortunately, we cannot give out specific tech data as most of it is copyright sorry.

If required the motor is p/no 143455. For an accurate diagnosis you may need to conatact a local Siemens engineer in your area.

Please use the link below to find a Corgi registered engineer as it will not be a repair you can undertake.

In that case eastlmark has probably hit the nail on the head.
The part you need is 494643 the half moon element.

Re: Neff double fan oven tripping RCD

    Hi
Ive had some that have had earth leakage on grill element and when using fan assisted cooking have tripped RCD at a certain temp.
Only a test with a “mega” will be able to establish the culprit.

Power off if you are to investigate :plug:
