Thay are not built to be run empty as they cannot detect a resistence between its sensors, making the appliance thinking that it has dry clothes inside, thus ending the cycle.

    Hi
NTC is p/no 48122868035 around £20. This is a twist fit situated below filters and protrudes vertically up out of sump area, can’t miss it, its white and looks like a bullet.
The NTC kit will come with new wires and some crimping may be required.
Make sure you put some insulating tape along the edge of the drip tray as they are razor sharp 😯

They use a flow meter now to regulate the amount of water, rather than the float, which kept bloody jamming and flooding 😈

    Hi
Ive had a similar fault where customer had ordered heater and module to find that after fitting, still no heat.
Turned out to be a faulty NTC, and again showed NO fault code 😀

    Ok

    This is where they go

White – Pin 1 of motor
Pink – Pin 4 of motor
Red – One side of start capacitor (will be obvious as it will have spare spade to accept)

    Re: Neff SGV43EO3GB/08

    Hi
The newer models that use the mushroom float have now done away with the little “bullett” float in the recess in the sump area.
I would start by looking in the base for any water ingress, failing that I would be looking at a module failure. Worth checking the edge connectors for damage also.

    Re: On reflection,

What is his problem? 😕 I think he should get a beer and chill. His stress levels must be through the roof.
We are all pissed off with the speed that UKW runs at, at the moment but we accept its not permanent and changes are afoot.
Its the rudeness and as Chris said the arrogance shown in his posts.
You could always refund his UKW subs and tell him to go forth 😈

On a health and safety aspect, surely the appliance should have been condemned. They shouldn’t of expected you to work on an appliance in an infested room 😯 dirty beggers 👿
