    Un plug appliance before investigating any further :plug:
    A quick check of the mains supressor on these beasties wouldn’t go a miss either, it will be obvious if it has blown 😉

    On a safety issue, nevermind the cosmetic damage; please cease using the appliance and contact the supplier/manufacturer to get an engineer to confirm/repair the fault.
