Oh well all quiet for now, somehow I feel temptation will get the better and he will either return or enter under a pseudonym (try typing that after a few JD’s 😆 )

ParticipantRe: Bosch gsu3101GB/01 standalone freezer problem
If it can manage it on fast freeze I would be thinking along the lines of NTC or module.
Only a an enigineer visit can confirm this, you could try the link below.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher SGS5312GB hangs during wash.
Sounds to me like a PCB module failure as the sensor is used for all washes. To confirm please use engineer link below.

Hi Chris
If you have checked the top spray arm for blockages, water level correct and re-circulation pump driving and not blocked, you are probably either looking at a faulty diverter unit which comes complete on the heater unit and/or the pcb.Greg

Those “veins” should turn easliy, with appliance un plugged 🙂
Its either seized or a foreign object has jammed it.
To remove that recirculation pump does require a reasonable amount of strip down and would seriously consider the engineer link below.Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher SGS4012GB/01 – How to get to water solo
Ok Ian
Check that the filters and spray arm jets are free from blockages, reove and clean. Then try again.
How high is the water level when it has finished filling? Hopefully just below the strut of the lower spray arm.Greg

First things first, when you start a prog you get the initial drain sequence after that do you hear a slight humming noise??
