    So you did Bryan 😆
I wonder if its an import to the UK because the system we use is bang up to date or is it an old oven?
Im sure Boro or BSHman may be able to shine some light on this hopefully.

Re: Hotpoint DF61 D/W heater box leak?

Just to add the text book removal of the water heater is as follows –

Unscrew outside door, base panel, angle strip and side panels. Disengage the tension cords from the hinge levers. Unscrew the screws which connect the base pan to the hinge plates. Unscrew the rinsing tank from the rear panel of the base pan. Disconnect the door cable harness from the plug-and-socket connection in the base pan. Place the appliance on its back, carefully remove the base pan and loosen the catch between the level sensor housing and the water softening system. Disconnect the circulation pump with the rubber support from the base pan. Open the base pan until the instantaneous water heater can be screwed off the pump sump. Unscrew the instantaneous water heater. Release the catch on the pump sump and lever the instantaneous water heater off the plug-and-socket connections of the pump sump / circulation pump.

You better let BSH know there is any easier way 😈 and the inlet outlet ports are actually upper and lower basket feeds 😉

On its back on work mate job done, whats with this tub off? The base ajar gives you more than enough room to change any under component.
Whatever you find easiest at the end of the day, just seems a big strip down for a small job. 🙄

    Hi Bryan

I can find HGE650V/00, which is probably yours.
If thats the case then the parts you mentioned will do.
The HGE650 range uses the same hinges throughout, its only the other door parts that change.

Appliance on back with base loosened, you can lower base away to gain access, bit of a pig but do able.

    Hi Jim
If its like the instantaneous heater in bosch, the ‘O’ rings weep occassionally where the heater box mounts onto sump. Remove box, clean ‘O’ rings and manifold ,bobs your uncle 😀

    Re: Another joke.

While on holiday, Pope Benedict suddenly sees a commotion just offshore.
He looks out and spots a helpless man wearing a German football top,
struggling to free himself from the jaws of a 25 foot shark.

The Pope watches, horrified, but spies a speedboat racing up with three
    men
wearing England football tops on board. One fires a harpoon into the
    side
of the shark. The other two reach out and pull the bleeding,
semi-conscious German from the water. The English heroes beat the shark
to death and haul it into the boat.

The Pope summons them to the beach. ‘ I give you my blessing for your
brave actions and saving my fellow countryman ‘ he said. ‘ I grew up
thinking there was bitter hatred between English and German football
fans, but now I have seen with my own eyes that this is not the truth.’

As he drove off, the harpooner asked his mates ‘ Who was that ?’

‘It was the Pope’, one of them replies. ‘ He is in direct contact with
God and has access to all of God’s wisdom.’

‘Well’, the harpooner replies, ‘ he may have access to all God’s
wisdom, but he knows nothing about shark fishing…………..How’s the
    bait holding up?’
