    how often do we go to appliances and find its out of guarantee by till receipt, but not by delivery date.

    It most probably is your compressor that has failed. Only an ohm meter and an earth leakage check can confirm really.

    All I can think of is that prolonged use of fabric conditioner has a way of making the material unable to absorb liquid ie no good on towels etc

    I’ve seen a load of these doing this. Mainly down to the stupid little arm holding the 2-3 stats just left of sump underneath. They have heat paste on them but you will find that the stats aren’t touching the stainless base, there will be a gap, hence poor sensing of wash temperature.

    Not had any problems. We have used Connect’s 1.5 and 2.5 red and blue for donkeys never any problem. Do the hoses you use come with a decent thickness seal I wonder?
