    Re: Bosch Fride/freezer – E2 error code

The fridge refrigerant is fed to the from the freezer via a diverter valve. This howeever has nothing to do with an E2 error being displayed.

    Hi
Not that I know of. It doesnt sound a good option personally.
I would use an engineer from the link below if I were you so that you get the correct information. 😉

    Hi
A model would be a good starting point. Take L/H salad drawer out and look on the sidewall for the enr and FD numbers please.

    Thanks

    Hi Mr wayne,
I don’t think that info is available to the public, but if you would tell us the fault we may be able to help.

    Hi Jim
I have no idea of origin.
FYI the model is either WAA24160GB/01 or/04.
I reckon its a Balay machine if that helps.

    Re: Bosch Fride/freezer – E2 error code

E2 is fridge evaporator sensor which is fitted into insulation of appliance at manufacture. Unless you want to drill it out (messy) I would go with the PCB.

    Hi
£72.50 inc Vat + parts isnt a bad call out considering the appliance in question.
Have changed a few boards; not to bad to change but you may not need both boards and they are around £100 a shot you may be better with engineer call.
As for lifespan, how long is that piece of string, can depend on a few factors ie clean mains, surges etc.

    Hi
Alternative model number may be on back. Failing that a photo may help to certain engineers on here 😉

    Re: water supply

    Hi
In a nutshell you save water, electricity and save energy by not firing up the boiler for hot water which would not have reached temp by the time the machine had stopped filling.
They do wash longer because of the low water used but the savings in energy are noticable.
    Hope that clarifies it.
