In that case get a long pozi and get behind fan by pressing down on it and remove that soddin screw 😆 .
When replacing dont bother replacing that top screw as that element aint goin anywhere. Done loads no problem doesnt bend shaft etc 😉

PS only seems to jam on the built under double ovens 😕

iadom wrote:The fan on the bosch oven I changed the half moon element on yesterday had holes in it. I was rather glad of them as well. The top fixing screw for the element is behind the fan. 😥 I had to heat the fan with my blow lamp to loosen it, then poke my long nosed pliers through the holes so that I could pull off the fan without burning my fingers.

If you take nut and lock washer off then grip shaft 😯 with pliers; turn fan blade at same time round and round and 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time the fan will pull off.

    Hi
This machine is similar to a Neff – S5543X1GB/12.
You could take a chance and order its instruction manual – 521945 as its very similar. Unless anyone has access to correct manual??

    Regards

Ive never seen or had any parts from masterpart; how do they fare in quality to BSH genuine spares?

Why ❓ ❓ Unless its a real pig, time wasted uplifting and returning and chance of scratching/denting in transit. Its not cost effective.

If its clean water in drum overnight = fill valve/s weeping
If its dirty water in drum overnight = backfill from sink

    Re: CORGI RIP-OFF PLUS VAT

I agree anyone can “just connect a hose”, but would the average joe know if the appliance was safe to use or leaking?. A small gas leak will not be detectable by the nose as its not sensitive enough. We have to regulation or we would end up like we were in the 70s where sides of houses and flats were exploding due to poor gas installations etc
The cost of appliances; we only have the public to blame. They moan at our call rates because they look at the machine cost and our labour rate and it doesnt do us any favours. I agree that its time consuming but you have to do the checks be it tightness for gas or PAT for electrical appliances, it all eats into our time but at least you sleep well 😉
