    Remembering Munich – February 6, 1958

Arsenal and the football world remember the 23 people, including eight Manchester United players and nine journalists, who perished in Munich on February 6, 1958.

The Munich disaster occurred when Manchester United were refuelling on their return from a European Cup fixture against Red Star Belgrade in Yugoslavia.

The final match that the legendary β€˜Busby Babes’ had played prior to their trip to Yugoslavia was at Highbury, as Sir Matt Busby’s team won a thrilling encounter 5-4 in front of 63,578 on February 1, 1958.

The picture below shows Duncan Edwards, who was already regarded as one of the world’s great players when he perished aged just 21, signing an autograph on the Highbury pitch prior to this match. Edwards went on to score in the game.

Arsenal Football Club would like to extend their sympathies to all those affected by those tragic events 50 years ago.

One of the game’s darkest days β€” it will never be forgotten.

    Re: siemens not draining properly

    Hi
I would look again at drain impeller (after removing the cover)
With your finger turning impeller, it should “twang” every 45 degrees, if not, it may have something wrapped round it or just plain faulty.
If you are satisfied you have done as much as you can, then ring BSH for a service call as all Siemens come with a minimum of a two year guarantee πŸ˜€

    Re: Bosch wtl 6500

When you run it, do you run it with a relatively full damp load?
If only a few smalls or nothing in drum, it will abort thinking it is dry.
Worth checking the the drum sensor for wear and continuity back to module.
Make sure there are no restrictions in the vent system ie – fan turning correctly, lint filter clear and condenser unit is completely free from any blockages.

    Re: Bosch classixx 1200 express

    Hi
Have you looked really hard inside the pump housing after removing the filter?
Try turning the impeller with your finger, it should “twang” every 45 degrees πŸ˜€
Can you hear any noise when you put it on drain or spin?
