LOOKING INTO YOUR REPLY [THANKS] ON THIS IS EVAP COVER HEATER AND NOT EVAP DEFROST HEATER DID MEASURE THE VOLTAGE AND IT IS 110V OUT OF THE FEMALE END OF PLUG.IDO HAVE AN EXPANDED VIEW OF THE EVAP SECTION TO LOOK AT.WILL REMOVE THE EVAP COVER SOON AN DEFROST TO SEE IF THERE IS A HEATER DIRECTLY ON THE EVAP IT- SELF THAT I HAVE MISSED.tHANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP!!

its an american model as indicated by the model number.i wouldn,t be interested in changing out a good defrost heater.although it would be good business for suppliers.samsung made a field change to the defrost heater to cure an icing problem,freezing the drain hole and spilling water out of the bottom of the unit on to the floor.i,am sure you are aware of this major complaint!!! my problem is the upgraded defrost heater is larger than the original heater which i have but without a diagram to position it because it extends higher up on the evap cover onto the plastic evap blower motor frame.it is the right heater but samsung doesn,t want the home owner to make these repaires because of liability hence my attempt to get info on this site to position it properly over the original heater.
