    thanks for that,,see what happens then…

    reading the rest of the forum it would seem to be a common problem with this model,,or could that be just a lack of service ?…

    just checked that found it from 699 to over 800,,it has a day to run,may be worth getting then claim of the house insurance?(not that i would do that 😉 )

    i think i may well have been a bit silly putting it on here,,looks like everybody is after it,,even if it is broken..so it must be worth fixing

    yer right i havent as yet,,but thinking about it,,as we all now when you go out to stock up for crimbo you get back and your old one has decided to give up the ghost,,

    this one is up on a well known auction site and the problems are as stated,happened after a thunderstorm,,could pc board need replacing?

    yes the light goes out,but with the therm set at low tems ie 25 and less it still burns and smokes,her indoors does clean it before cooking, and the back is always cleaned,,perhaps i should try the tem settings with a separate therm?
