    Re: Hotpoint FFA60 freezer problem

Fridge still has some stuff in it, so will use that and switch of over the weekend (we’re away at a beer festival so it won’t matter!!).

Would that explain the freezer warm LED not shining even though the freezer is.. warm?

    Machine repaired! 😀

Long story short, I did some (extensive) testing and determined that the PCB basically worked. It turned out to be the wire that goes in to the connector on the temperature probe had broken inside the connector.

    Remedial action taken!

Re: ariston margherita a1635 error code 3 ?

Assuming PCB, is there a componant of choice that likes to go bad?
Are there any board schematics I can use for fault finding?

Being somewhat electronically minded, and somewhat skint, I’m keen to explore the option of repair.

Re: ariston margherita a1635 error code 3 ?

My Ariston has started doing this (except when there is no load in the drum)

I have had the probe out and it measures ~22k at room temperature.
Checked wiring and everything seems to be on properly.

    What should I try next?
