I have finally managed to get a response from whirlpool and believe it or not they want £180 for this control board!!!!

Guess who is getting a new tumble dryer.

The number I gave 4303 303 31684 is the number on the control board.

I have had another look at the sensor (2 metal strips below the fluff filter) and it’s wiring to the control board.
There are no breaks in the wiring and no dry solder joints on the control board.
I can only conclude that the control board is faulty but I can’t find any reference to the part on any spares sites.

The code number on the edge of the board is 4303 303 31684.

Can anybody help in locating a price/supplier for this board?

I have spent ages trawling the Whirlpool site and have found that the AWZ8577 is the identical model except for the French writing on the fascia panels.
