I am inclined to think either the control board is acting up or else it is the pump. The relay in position k3 on the control board has a very small indentation in it, maybe this is blown! The pump has continuity between several of the terminals and the impeller is rotating ok. Thks

No. I would have thought that when float level reaches the right point (pressure operated diaphragm with micro switch) , the circulation pump would kick in. The micro switch is working ok, because it energises the wire from the float switch and this wire goes back to the control board.

Martin yes, It was when I went looking for that part, and saw the picture of it, I could not find it on my model of dishwasher. The description says “The sensor measures the flow and amount of water that your dishwasher is filled with, essentially a water metering device known as an impeller jug or flow meter. “, I think my model is using the pressure chamber and micro switch to indicate when enough water is in the machine. On the sgv53e03gb/46, there seems to no impeller jug (flow meter). In my first post, I incorrectly called the ‘impeller’ on the circulation pump an ‘impeller jug’. On my model, the water level is controlled by a float level switch, which has a micro switch and the micro switch is operating correctly(energises the green wire to the control board when level reaches a certain point). As I say, even though web sites say, the impeller jug (flow meter)will fit my model, I can’t find it. Any help appreciated. Thks
