    It did after it tripped, there is still a faint smell.

    The fluke measures up to 600v where do i stick the probes 😯 (please be nice). So if it is cooked, would this account for the drum turning a couple of times then clicking. If it does need replacing then what sort of cost am I looking at. Would it be better to get a new washer, do you recommend any?

    I have a fluke tester what do i need to do to check this?

    Done that, and motor is making no strange noises, alot of carbon off the brushes lying arround, so had a look at them appears to be about 1/2″ left on each. My wife now tells me that this was the forth load she had done in a row. Is it worth fitting new brushes (where cann I get them from) or checking anything else ❓ 😕
