ParticipantRe: Dishwasher Recommendation
Cheers don you suggested that before and Iv had a good look round and it looks a good one. I did find an AEG which came with a 5 year warranty but when I tried to order it it it was no longer in production! Other than that I think I will get the one you mentioned.

ParticipantRe: Hoover HC6-145m door lock faulty
No it wont do anything as the lock light wont come on. I’m thinking of buying the lock module mainly as its the cheapest fix! first and see how it goes.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD860… no end of trouble
Iv got the same problem but cant seem to find the solution.
1. Iv replaced the thermostat the resistance across the pins is 24kohms. Both the new one and old one measure the same resistance so Im assuming they are infact ok but please let me know if this is wrong?
2. Iv tested the heating element and it reads 46ohms across the connetions which shows its not open circuit. During drying cycle the voltage to the element is 68volts but not sure if this is correct.
3. The fan is spinning and I have removed the whole assembly and dont remember the fan being loose.Iv had a good look around and cant seem to find anything. I’m just woundering if it is the element as there is volatge going to it but it does not heat up.
Some help before my wife kills me!!!!!!! 😥 😥
