@ Wadey – Hey it’s amazing how often you can take something that isn’t working apart – find nothing wrong and reassemble it to find that it now works again… 😆
Perhaps I’ll have totry that with my board – you’ve really encouraged me here… – Forgot about that old trick 😀

I tried to get onto RS site & got stuck with registration & stuff – even tried completeing that but it seemed to be for companies only so I gave up 🙁
My appliance is still functioning – just noisy… So it’s not urgent just yet 🙄 – so i’ll see how you go 😀
Are you an electronics engineer?
Cheers

I tried phoning Whirlpool… got through to service 3rd time of trying…
Nice lady answered but didn’t have a clue about the machines 🙄 Was just there to book a service engineer and let me know that it would cost £72 call out plus parts & labour… – So looks like just replacing board or boards is the cheapest option…
How long are they likely to last once replaced ? – anyone done it?
Mick 😆

OK thanks…
Where is the best place to get a replacement board from? – I presume it is a simple enough job to replace the part myself if I get one?
Cheers…

I have the same problems with a S25BRSS31…
Surely as paolo says it must be possible to replace a faulty relay for a few quid instead of the whole board for £200???
what about an exchange on a reconditioned board?
Someone must know…
Cheers
