    Re: Dishwasher advice

Top drawer hinges kept breaking – then the door broke.

I kicked up a major fuss and got it swapped for a Bosch. (had to pay £100 more – but the Bosch is fantastic!!) I have learnt my lesson and will never compromise quality for cost.

The Bosch is the SGS45E68GB – ultra quiet (you can have it on while eating), ultra clean (not one dirty glass when the Kenwood just used to move the dirt around a bit rather than clean), and ultra fast – the quick 29 min cycle cleans the plates, cutlery & glasses spotless.

Thankyou for making me go through the hassle of upgrading. Good luck to all others – just do it!

Ok, my choice is either AEG F60870M or Bosch SGS45E68.

Both seem pretty similar – what I’m most interested in is which cleans the best and is reliable?

    Any recommendations.?

Re: dishwasher cycle seem to run and run

The dispenser flap has been broken for some time. (the clip to keep it shut broke some time ago, so I took the spring mechanism off so that the tablet did not keep falling out). It seemed to work fine having the flap half open.

Could this be part of the problem?

Thanks for the tip – can you elaborate – what “thunk”?

I thought it only heated up at the end of the cycle – is the thunk you are referring to, at the very beginning or of the cycle or when?
