I appreciate where you are coming and will not therfore pursue this question further. Thank you for taking the time to reply even if you are unable to help

The frustating thing (for me) is that although ordered from E-spares the sensor was dispatched direct from GIAS, and even has their details on the delivery note. It appears to be a genuine Hoover part in the original unopened packaging but has not come with the supporting info referred to here.

It sounds from what others have said here that it should have done.

“We can, no doubt, get the technical bulletin as it would be supplied with the new part”

I asked GIAS first as it did not seem unreasonable for them to supply supporting info if the item came from them albeit through a third party.

My question about a service manual was not a request to download copyright information from this forum. If you read my post I said ‘is there a service manual I can buy’

E-spares and Gias (from whom the sensor was dispatched) have both refused to help.

I asked the forum because this info had already been made available (above)

I’m not after verbatum copywrited technical info. Just a guide to where to cut, otherwise the appliance is binned.

Alternatively if no-one is willing to help with this is there a service manual I can buy with this info?

I have received the new sensor in the post today (ordered from E-spares) but it has not come with any fitting instructions as described above.

I too have the same problem and need to know to location of the temperature sensor on this model

Is there any way anyone can give me this info without breaching the manufacturers copyright?
