Can a split door seal prevent the fridge from cooling? Cause I I have fridge that doesn’t cool and the only thing I can think thst is causing the problem is the damaged door gasket.

Thank you guys for your help I left the fridge odd for 2 days and now it works.

I would say it is freezing but it is not as efficient as it use to be specially since the fridge compartment has stop cooling. It’s why i was trying to find out if it could be a compressor relay issue or the controlboard as Issue I can hear 2 ticking noise coming from the board when I restart the fridge..

I will give that a try. But I also noticed the fridge door seal is in bad condition and I may also be the cause?
