Right:

the device with the pressure switch at the bottom is clear (more or less).

The water matrix has crud in the top left hand corner.

I’m going to get a pro in the next time it fails. I’m anxious that I’m going to break something expensive.

have unplugged dishwasher.

Getting the left panel off is a problem. I’ve removed the Torx screws but it appears that I need to remove the worktop from the machine to get the panel off properly. How do I do this?

I’ve now located the model number SRS5602GB/05 – and edited back into the original post. Is there any more specific information on this model?
