Re: hoover optima oph714d
Hi, thanks to all who have posted about this. I too have the hoover optima and have been getting the E3 code but only when I was washing at 90 degrees but I had checked pipes & the water drained ok on every other wash. Today I got the E3 code so turned it off then started a 60 degrees wash, after a few minutes I got E16 code & was puzzled as its not in the manual. I came across this website & realised I’m not alone in this problem. The heater thing makes sense since it was the higher temperatures that had the problems. I’m trying a 40 degree wash now & hopefully that will work. I’m not sure how easy or cheap it is to fix it, my washer is over 2 years old.
Thanks again for all your helpful posts.
