no, that tests out fine, I am looking at one of the tiny transistors on the underside of the board which appears to be duff, can anyone tell me what the two white wires connected to the jumper plug on J006 are, as this inhibits the relay, I presume they are from the water level switch, which appears to work as the machine fills correctly, anyone out there got a circuit diagram, either for the machine or the module, (or both:-))

thanks Matt, you need to test the thermistor on a 10k scale really, I am using an old AVO 8 analogue meter. On most multimeters with only one resistance scale they will show as open circuit. I am old school with test equipment I’m afraid, I have thrown far to many very expensive digital jobs in the bin to get caught again. I looked on maplins to get some idea of thermistor average resistance, and it does look to be in the right ballpark. I will let you know if I make any breakthroughs.

Hi people, same machine (IDL40) same problem, runs through cycle ok, but not heating. heater checks ok and relay is ok. have just tested the thermistor and I’m getting 60Kohm cold and drops to 10Kohm hot. anyone know if this is acceptable for this component. Right, I’m grabbing my trusty AVO8 and going in deeper, any info appreciated.
