Fantastic advice thank you, machine up and running again now after having removed the mangled plate and £19.63 in coins and other misc items from the basket in the black tube, I’m totally amazed it ever ran at all with all that in it.

Thankyou iadom, that’s helped a lot, the metal “thing” that is between drums is about 3/4 the size of an iPhone and has various holes in it and slots , no idea what it could be but looks to be made of the same metal as the drum. Looks like I’ll have to try and get a cutter in the hole and take bits off at a time
