All fixed 🙂

Fan is a bu99er to replace. Took the engineer and me to hold the casing up whilst he backed himself into the freezer to work on the back of the chiller. Very difficult holding the casing up without stressing the copper refrigerant pipe.

Not the best design I’ve seen 😉

De Dietrich have sent Service87 agent round. Apparently the fan is frozen solid in it’s hood at the top of the freezer. Part needs to be ordered and fitted. Another wait 🙁

Have found that their service dept is based where I live in Basingstoke via this website, so I’ve completed their contact form for service and repairs. I’ll see what happens next 😮

Cheers. It’s a built-in jobbie so can’t access the compressor without unscrewing the unit from the cabinet surround 🙁
