    Forgot to mention that my brother in law is an electrical engineer. When i mean continuity everything read normal voltage until it tripped when the switch was turned then just before the dial got to the trip point the voltage spiked big time.

    Right had my brother in law take a look at it, the bottom line is the machine seems to trip when the timer hit a certain point. Just to check we isolated the door switch, same thing. Checked all the continuity that came back all fine. So we think it is the timer/programme dial, the only problem we’ve got is we can’t seem to get the bl**dy thing out any suggestions or is it not worth finding one.

    Stupid question i’m pretty cute when it comes to electronics but as a tumble i’m a little clueless wots the best way to isolate the heater. I take it i pull the spade terminals of the heater element and link them without the heater in situe.
