Re: Indesit DI620 – Please help 🙂
Jamesmuk- Had a problem with my DI620UK where light 4 was flashing. Done all the checks, Heating element, stat, power relay on PCB etc. Was looking at prices of a new PCB and was to dear to justify £70. Anyway took a closer look at PCB and everything looked ok, no burns etc., reflowed complete board, still no joy. Then I discovered a zener diode that was giving odd reaings on the multimeter, was acting as a short circuit. Took out diode and replaced with new one from radionics (less than 10p) put back in PCB and machine now working perfect, RESULT javascript:emoticon(‘:lol:’) In the process of debugging the PCB I managed also to get (with a struggle) 5 exact samples of the on board power relay, just in case this ever does go.
