Sorry to take up forum space…This has now been solved.

I took the outlet pump assembly apart, cleaned, and found a foreign object (cherry pip 😳 ) in the impeller.

Thanks for the reply – I think the problem might be more terminal as I cannot even run a rinse program. Power on/off switch works, but no others. Have checked the obvious, no blockage at the sink end, so clearly an issue within the machine.

Quite honestly, with all the possible solutions, and in the light of the fact that this is the third problem in the last 10 months, I think we’re off to buy a new one!

Any recommendations?!

Have looked at the PCB and it is pretty obvious that this is where the fault lies as there is a bit(!) of a scorch mark 😯 . Anyhow, the problem seems to be a dry solder joint, which we can fix. Hopefully the relay hasn’t suffered as well….

Thanks a lot for your help – sounds mad but without this site we wouldn’t even have looked for the problem, just called out an engineer.
