    Re: Dyson DC05 Motorhead

Thanks, No its not the motorhead. I had that problem some time ago and dyson engineer replaced Wand handle. I checked the old one and it was only a loose wire so I now have a standby. The main motor has failed and I sent it to my local repairer (out of warranty) but replacement motor cost was 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of new Dyson. I now have a replacement motor but dealer disconnected wires in original and did not connect them back on returning it, hence my checking wiring before running up new motor.

Thanks. There are two identical single female spade connectors. One with 2 x black wires and 1 with single white. Would appreciate copy of wiring diagram if possible so I can trace the circuit.

Just realised model number should be 48197 but I understand it is the same timer unit.
