you guys should go to (advertising removed by admin).they give gobs and you get paid for everything direct from the customer.labour and parts.you quote own charges and supply own spare parts so you make all the profit on spare parts.
upside is you get more charge jobs, you get mark up on parts and you get paid there n then.also,as you pay them a referal comision, you dont wait for money like all the others.
downside is none.
they only charge 20 pound per job you do and that invoiced weekly so you get paid before you pay them for the job.
why do people always do work for people and wait for money?.and then it.seems like it is you dont get paid.Gobs ?
Although the last few posts you have shown an improvement.

hello.dont get me wrong we just do charge jobs so we can pick and chose what we do so the tech infomation ect isnt really a problem to us.
as for education lee im sorry i didnt see it as a requirement.maybe thats why theres only a small portion of the trade as members on the map when theres thousands of people doing repairs on whitegoods?.if theres a required level of education then it probably means lots cant join until they reach the requird level?.jamieparrie
ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k.im just finding it hard to see wat 70 pound will get me apart from discounts.even if you got us some work offers, unless it was a tender style offer,we wouldnt do it as pay to cheep and they want to much for the low pay.
in electrical trade we tender for work with housing associations, builders ect and we put forward our best rates and terms then they chose one and sign a duration contract.here,it seems to be the other way around.which is messed up.i had one firm say to me that if a machine gets exchanged then we get 20 pound.even if not our fault.needles to say we said no thatnks but reading this i thought you might have had a different way like tendering so everyone makes there own terms and then competes for work.
although niceic is a lot of money its a recognised body and they help with certificates ect aswell as provide jobs at charge rates.so to me,i could make the few hundred pound in one job.but with this and only having discount club,i wouldnt get my money back as i wouldnt want the work unless it was tendered or contracted legaly.
and to the person above me that said me and national appliance care were in cardiff,i just double checked, there in wakefield yorkshire so you are wrong.jamieparrie
ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k.ok thanks.

ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k.niceic is recognised throughout the country and the many many many customers we get are from niceic direct at full charge rate so i get a lot more than discounts.yes training costs but it does no matter what job you do.when i asked about training,it was a good thing if you did even if you charged so i am not being funny but it should do it.like i said i would be interested if there was training as i would send some engineers.

ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k its because i spoke with a firm that wanted me to do work on there terms and at realy low pay so i was trying to find out if work through this is different.by your answers its not so to me you are right it wouldnt be for me if only for discount club.

ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello bob
yes thats why im asking as i want an indication to what it does before i book hotel and take time off work ect and so far thats all i can see is discount club and adhoc work.
i am a niceic member and we do lots of training and certification ect.i am just trying to work out what this would do for me exept get me discounts because thats just like a loyalty club.jamieparrie
ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
they are based in yorkshire?and im from cardiff.what is this about?i dont get it?
jamieparrie
ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k so its not a commercial contract,it is just ad hoc also as there is not any tendered contract?so they could play off workers and move workers as no tender was awarded?and then i guess it will be a lower pay than a normal customer so it is doing work at less pay with no security?
so let me get this right.for 70 pound we get discounts club stuff and we get work with no actual tendered contract which gives no stability?and you dont do any training or certificates ect?jamieparrie
ParticipantRe: March 2014 Conference
hello k and hth
thanks i would be interested in training as thats good and needed but i cant see where 70 would be worth it if i only get discounts in places you agree with.
could i ask if people get benefits from this apar from discounts as interested but wary as bad experiences paying money for things with no real benefit.
with work, would it be a contract like tendered and signed for a set period or is it the type where it means nothin and you get played with other workers?. -
