    Re: BOSCH KGN34VOO MANUFACTURING PROBLEM

They came out to F/F yesterday. Guy came in listened to F/F opened door for a while then shut it. Yes it does make a noise. It needs a new fan unit. I’ll have toorder one.

I all but exploded. This is a con to get the money out of Bosch for two visits. Fine if that’s what they want but this is ‘MY TIME’ that is being wasted. They are coming out again next saturday afternoon.

I have rang and complained to the place I bought it from. L

Let’s hope that it does not start freezing stuff in the salad drawers as we eat a lot of slad and they are normally packed out with either raw salad or made up salads.

Out of interest is it both drawers or just one?

The machine is now all back together and fully working. Took motor to local spares place and they removed and replaced the brushes for me giving the motor a quick clean up at the same time.

Had small leak on cold fill at first but put PDF tape on and it seems to be OK. Just in case I will turn water off when not in use ( both H&C have their off turn offs under the sink) and get new cold fill hose tomorrow.

The man at the spares place was really helpfull be has told me how to hopefully fix catch on dishwasher (I willl head over to that forum in a mo to check things out) and also if I need a new motor on F/F he will see what he can do to sort the right one out. If I take the old one in.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the help I have received. Follow the dishwasher and F/F on the other forums.

Will also be posting a warning in connection to new F?F. They are coming out to that next Saturday afternoon……..

Ok having solved the washing machine problem with assistance from people on this site It’s back to F/F

Have removed the fuse and had that checked all is OK with that.

Now to get the motor out. I have removed the srews from the triangle shaped holder. No problem. But am having trouble working out how to remove motor.

I don’t have the model for this fridge freezer.

A really nice man at spares place (he helped me with brshes for washing machine tin of biscuits on way to him next week) will do his best to help with motor but I’ve got to get it there.

Guys in work will run a couple of tests to see if that is the problem. But again I’ve got to get it there.

Can supply photos of fixings etc to anyone who might be able to help but does not know machine. Just drop me an email and I’ll send them off

Thanks for bearing with me on this.

Have you cleaned behind the front vents out?

Also is the fan at the back behind the panel working? It’s to the left of the black thing (compresser I think it’s called)

Reason I say that is my condenser fan has gone. I have posted about mine playing up. I am just about to update posting.

At least you know which model yours is I need to get mine off and take it to spares place they will try and help me. There is no plate on mine anywhere.

    motor is out Horray

There is what looks like black candy floss. I take it that that has something to do with the carbon brushes.

Now if I can just work out how to get the wiring off I could take motor to spares shop and sort things from there.

OK silly female question. How do you get the belt off. It’s late I’m tired and life is S**T

    dishwasher door won’t shut now!!!!!!

One thing at a time. Bought new fridge freezer so old one can wait. Can wash up by hand.

But washing machine that needs to be fixed.

I am assuming that motor is down the bottom with the shaft coming out that the belt goes around.

Not only did a turn the socket off but I unplugged the plug and disconected the water hoses having turned them off first

I was hoping that the belt had gone it would be alot easier to replace. Will have a go at getting at the brushes. Cooking Christmas dinner for 22 was soooooooo much easier.

    Thanks for the help.

    Re: Hotpoint Mistral plus

He just took the back panel off. The fan was not working. Fridge has been searched high and low but no model number. So he said he was unable to help. Charged call out fee and left. 🙁

Tried contacting hotpoint and they were unable to help. They did say that their engineer could come out £80 + VAt and would be able to work out which model maybe.

Bought new f/f. But as I said thought it might be OK for garage.

Where would the fuse be situated?
