Hi Dave, I have the hoses (original American) but the thread on the hose won’t screw onto the tap (uk) the adapter in the link I shared is exactly what I need as the originals have been lost in a house move.
    thank you

    So, update on the dryer!!
Removed front panel, checked thermistor, wiring and connection plug. All appeared ok ( although not sure what the resistance should be. But it changed as I warmed it in my hand)

Removed pcb (top corner) all relays and solder joints looked ok.. no visible burning on the outside of the relays.

Then figured out how to set the dryer to a timed mode and all worked fine..

Filled dryer with damp towels, selected auto cycle… Guess what?? It worked

So I have no idea why it now works but it does.
Thank you Dave for your help anyway.

short answer dont know. Miele tech is hard to find so we sort of fly by the seat of out pants

there is a front toc but the dryness is sensed by the brush gear so i would double check these are making contact

there is normally a timed programme so does it heat on that ?

    Dave

I see, fair enough. I will certainly double check the brushes etc, I’m not even sure there is a timed cycle on this one? I will check out the suggested components tomorrow, and check if there is indeed a timed cycle and try that.
    Thank you for your help.
I will let you know how it progresses

Hi Dave, thank you for your suggestions.
yes all airways clear (good airflow at least from rear vent)
I will pop the relay board out tomorrow and have an inspection. I understand a faulty relay could prevent any heat, but would that lead to the dryer stopping and showing it’s finished ?

electrofix wrote:most induction hobs have power board and control boards power boards often do 2 rings maybe 3 at a push so if a power board failed i would expect only 2 rings to be affected
you say in your case all rings have failed at once so it sounds like a control board problem. i would need the complete Enr number to get a part number which should be underneath the unit

Beware, A lot of these types of boards need configuring, which means manipulating the controls to link the boards together. This info will be very difficult to find so it may be you would have to get Neff to fit it

    Dave

    Thanks Dave.
Looks like a job for Neff!!
