Just got to the machine and pulled the sides off to find lots of water from the washer motor hose being off. I disconnected both pumps to check if anything was stuck in them the other day and could not have refitted the washer pump hoses correctly.
I also pulled the water flow switch and that was completely full of fatty deposits. I cleaned it out, checked and refitted, made sure all hoses fitted correctly and turned it on. It now works as it should.
Thanks Penguin 45 for your knowledge and bigsmokepiker was spot on the money with the washer motor pipe causing a leak.
The model number for the dishwasher is ADP 6600 IX and the Service Number is: 8542 660 53969. It is made in Germany and sold in Australia.
Thanks again

Thanks for the info. I will check for these things. I have seen evidence of water on the bottom tray but I don’t believe it is new.
The Service Number for my machine is: 8542 660 53969
I hope that will help tracking down the model.
It doesn’t have an optical water indicator – it has the black plastic grid with switch. I will check that with a meter to see what is happening.
Cheers

The light flashing 2 times was a one off thing. It is now back to flashing 11 times. 😥
I started a cycle with the door open and it goes through a drain cycle. Then it begins to fill, but only to cover the filter in the bottom and before starting the wash cycle, it then drains with the light flashing 11 times.
The one time it failed with the 2 flashes it started to wash but was still filling when the fail occured. I didn’t have the door open for that test so not sure how high the water level got to. No visible leaks under machine.
Is the flashing 11 times a combination of problems OR is it a cockroach in the control panel.
