Sorry for not getting back to you sooner..!

I noticed that hubby had put the drain hose a long way into the downpipe – pulled it out about 4 inches and the machine started filling properly – 😀

I made him sort out the filter at the back end of the machine after it flooded the utility area and now it works again. He pulled out a load of gunk and a couple of those colour catcher things – our machine likes to eat them for some reason.
